Oceanport Pharmacy Retail Operations Associate About us Oceanport pharmacy is a family owned independent pharmacy that has been serving the community for over 20 years. We are seeking a Retail Operations Associate to became a part of our team! Position Summary The Retail Operations Associate is responsible for overseeing all non- dispensing operations of the pharmacy, including retail sales, merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, marketing, social media operations, seasonal promotions, vendor relationships, customer service, and overall store appearance. This role ensures the front end of the pharmacy is profitable, organized, welcoming, and aligned with the pharmacy's mission of exceptional customer care. Key Responsibilities Retail Store Operations Oversee daily front-end store operations Ensure shelves are fully stocked, organized, and properly signed Maintain a clean, attractive, and inviting shopping environment Monitor customer flow and improve store layout for sales growth Resolve customer concerns and provide exceptional service Inventory Management Manage inventory levels across gift, beauty, OTC, seasonal, and convenience categories Monitor product expiration dates and coordinate markdowns or returns Analyze sales trends to optimize inventory Conduct periodic inventory audits Reduce excess inventory and prevent stockouts Product Purchasing and Vendor Management Merchandising and Store Displays Marketing & Community Engagement Retail Sales Growth Gift Shop Management Foster a positive customer service culture Develop operational procedures
Administrative Responsibilities Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or higher education Driver's License Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Strong organizational skills Highly proficient in computer skills Proficient in English language Retail management experience Inventory management experience Purchasing and merchandising experience Social media and marketing experience preferred Ability to analyze sales data and trends
