Job Description:

Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and highly friendly, courteous service or assistance. Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services. Stay current and have product knowledge of plants, flowers, services, soils, pots, and more. Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken Assist customers with plant, pots, decor and accessory product selection and design floral and plant product based on customer needs. Assist customers by creating a personalized shopping experience Take an active role in maintaining and developing existing and new customer relationships, including following up as needed to insure complete satisfaction Contribute to the consistent maintenance of product merchandising. Candidate Attributes Love of flowers and plants Computer proficiency Excellent verbal communication skills Self-motivated, enthusiastic and customer service oriented The ability to work effectively as a member of a team-oriented environment The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Able to lift 30 pounds and go up/down a staircase Flexible work availability/schedule required Extended work hours required during major floral holidays (e.g., Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas etc.)
