Job Description
La Promenade has an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their sales and customer service skills in a fun, fast-paced environment! This is a full-time (35 hr/week) position, located in Tenafly, NJ. The Storefront Sales Associate will support the Storefront Managers and Owners in assisting customers, taking custom cake and catering orders, and keeping the storefront stocked, clean, and organized. Main Responsibilities Greeting customers and assisting them with orders (in person and via telephone) Performing cash and credit card transactions for customers Keeping all areas stocked, including boxes, coffee supplies, refrigerated and freezer cases, and cashier area Ensuring the storefront is clean and tidy at all times Demonstrating a strong knowledge of La Promenade's products Performing all designated opening and closing tasks Assisting with additional projects as needed Basic Qualifications 1+ years of experience in a retail environment Excellent customer service skills Strong ability to multitask and prioritize different projects Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone Strong organizational skills A sales-focused mindset and eagerness to learn
