Overview Help customers and recommend products Run the register and handle transactions Restock and keep the store clean Verify IDs and follow store policies Competitive pay + tips Employee discounts Flexible scheduling Growth opportunities Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain visual merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves and ensuring attractive displays Stock shelves, manage inventory levels, and assist with merchandise replenishment to keep the store well-stocked and inviting Assist with product demos and answer customer questions about features, benefits, and usage instructions Handle phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while providing information or directing calls appropriately Customer service experience preferred Positive attitude and strong communication skills Reliable and hardworking Must be 21+ Qualifications Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual environment is a plus Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and managing retail math calculations confidently Experience in grocery stores or familiarity with grocery retail operations is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise, and perform stocking duties comfortable.
