Position Summary Sales Associates are responsible for providing excellent customer service, supporting daily store operations, following all compliance requirements, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail environment. This is a customer-facing role. Sales Associates must be able to communicate professionally, follow detailed procedures, verify required information, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail setting. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service and Sales Greet customers and provide a professional, welcoming experience. Assist customers with product questions and general purchasing guidance. Support sales goals and customer service standards. Maintain professionalism during busy periods, customer concerns, and changing priorities. Compliance and Product Knowledge Follow all Company policies and applicable cannabis regulations. Verify identification and customer eligibility as required. Follow purchase limits, product-handling rules, and compliance procedures. Stay informed about current products, promotions, and store procedures. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling customer and business information. Store Operations Assist with opening, closing, stocking, cleaning, and general store upkeep. Support cash handling, point-of-sale procedures, and inventory processes as assigned. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area. Participate in required training and follow direction from supervisors and management. Teamwork and Reliability Report to work as scheduled and follow attendance and call-in procedures. Work cooperatively with team members and management. Adapt to changing business needs, customer traffic, and assigned duties. Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful workplace. Availability and Scheduling Oasis Cannabis Co. operates seven days per week. Employees may be scheduled for weekdays, weekends, holidays, opening shifts, closing shifts, or other shifts based on business needs, staffing levels, customer demand, position requirements, and assigned location. Open availability is generally expected unless availability restrictions are disclosed in writing and approved by the Company. For this purpose, availability restrictions means days or times you are not available to work. Availability preferences are not the same as restrictions and may not be approved or followed. Full-time or part-time status will be determined based on business needs, availability, position requirements, and assigned schedule. No specific number of hours, shifts, days, schedule pattern, or work location is guaranteed. QualificationsRequired Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to obtain and maintain any required food handler credential. Must be able to follow detailed policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts. Must be able to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, opening shifts, closing shifts, and varying schedules based on business needs. Must be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Prior retail, sales, customer service, hospitality, or cash-handling experience. Experience working in a regulated industry. Interest in learning about Company products, compliance requirements, and retail operations. Physical and Work Requirements Essential job functions may include: Standing and walking for extended periods. Bending, reaching, lifting, stocking, and organizing products or supplies. Lifting up to 25 pounds as needed. Using a point-of-sale system and other workplace technology. Working in a retail environment with customer traffic, changing priorities, and operational demands. Eligible retail Sales Associates may participate in applicable tip and commission programs under Company policy. Tips, commissions, bonuses, contests, incentives, or other additional compensation are not guaranteed and may be changed, suspended, or discontinued in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.
