Since its founding, Patina has become one of the most beautiful galleries in the world to exhibit exclusive, soul - stirring contemporary jewelry and objects of fine art, representing more than 75 renowned global artists, many of whom reside in the permanent collections of significant American and International museums. We are seeking a relationship-driven, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building long-term client relationships, and helping customers discover meaningful artwork and jewelry pieces. This is more than a traditional retail position — we are looking for someone who can create an elevated customer experience while supporting artwork and jewelry sales, collector relationships, gallery events, and day-to-day sales operations. What You'll Do Sales & Client Engagement Guide customers through artwork and jewelry purchasing decisions Educate clients on artists, collections, materials, and available works Build and maintain strong collector and customer relationships Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, website inquiries, and walk-in traffic Follow up with prospective buyers and existing clients Share product details, pricing, and artwork images with clients Customer Experience & Gallery Support Create a welcoming and polished gallery experience Maintain strong knowledge of represented artists and inventory Support gallery presentation and front-of-house operations Prepare customer-facing materials and documentation Sales Operations & Administrative Support Process sales transactions and payments Maintain accurate customer and sales records Track client interactions, preferences, and sales activity Monitor artwork availability and inventory status Coordinate with internal teams regarding customer needs and sales support Exhibition & Event Support Assist with gallery openings, artist talks, private previews, and events Support guest experience during exhibitions and receptions Help maintain a presentation-ready gallery environment What We're Looking For Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional, polished, and customer-focused demeanor Sales experience preferred (luxury retail, art, jewelry, hospitality, or relationship-based sales is a plus) Comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport Organized and detail-oriented Ability to work independently and collaboratively Passion for art, jewelry, design, or creative industries is highly preferred Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who naturally connects with people, enjoys relationship-based sales, and thrives in an environment centered around creativity, hospitality, and customer experience.
