Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service through active listening and personalized product recommendations Educate customers on product features, effects, consumption methods, and proper usage to promote responsible consumption Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Manage inventory levels through stock checks, merchandising adjustments, and reporting discrepancies Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales and age restrictions Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information or directing calls appropriately Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar customer-focused environments Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in team settings Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer engagement techniques Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions Experience in product demos, upselling strategies, and merchandising techniques to boost sales Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about the industry is advantageous Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced retail environment.
