Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers with product selections, offering detailed product demos and recommendations based on their needs Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to maximize sales opportunities Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure proper merchandising to maintain an attractive store appearance Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, fostering informed purchasing decisions Manage retail math tasks such as balancing cash drawers, handling cash transactions, and maintaining accurate cash register records Maintain comprehensive knowledge of store products, including cannabis strains, accessories, and related merchandise Follow phone etiquette standards when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth store operations Requirements Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within a dispensary or similar retail environment with POS system proficiency Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in a retail setting Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively and clearly explain product details Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and inventory stocking procedures Familiarity with cashiering duties including cash register operations, cash drawer handling, and retail math calculations Excellent phone etiquette for professional customer interactions over the phone or online Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions, inventory management and end of day reconciliation Previous experience with upselling techniques to increase sales volume A positive attitude with strong customer service skills and a passion for educating others about our products Adept at using Mac computers and Google Drive Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where customers feel confident in their choices while enjoying a lively team environment.
