Pay Rate:

$13.00 per hour MINISO is a global lifestyle retail brand known for a wide variety of affordable, design-led products. This position is with an independently owned and operated MINISO franchise location. We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to support daily store operations and create a welcoming shopping experience for customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet and engage customers to create a warm environment, support their shopping experience, and provide excellent customer service. Maintain sales floor presentation in accordance with applicable MINISO brand and visual guidelines, process incoming shipments, restock items as needed, and maintain good housekeeping standards. Accurately handle cash and credit transactions, including purchases and returns, courteously and professionally. Maintain a professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude at all times. Contribute to the overall sales goals of the store. Assist with petty cash tracking responsibilities as assigned, including recording fund balances twice daily and securely managing funds in compliance with company procedures. Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Previous retail sales experience preferred, but not required.

Communication Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management. Ability to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform basic math functions, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business. Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.

Other Skills:

Enthusiastic, friendly, dependable, and energetic, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.

Work Hours:

Part-time availability required. Must be available to work a flexible retail schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality are required. Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation): Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally (up to 10 times per hour). Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking during scheduled shifts. Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 3 hours continuously). Ability to place and arrange items on shelves and racks daily. Ability to read instructions, reports, and information on computer/register screens and to key information into the computer daily.
