In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized environment by managing cart operations, performing vehicle and facility maintenance, and providing excellent customer service. Your proactive approach will ensure a positive experience for all visitors and team members while supporting the overall cleanliness and safety of our location. Responsibilities Collect, organize, and distribute shopping carts to ensure they are readily available for customers. Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and general janitorial duties to uphold cleanliness standards. Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as inspecting equipment, reporting repairs needed, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Support custodial activities by maintaining restrooms, common areas, and other facility spaces in pristine condition. Remove snow and apply salt near store and mall entrances during winter to help ensure customer safety. Drive carts or other designated vehicles safely around the premises to support efficient customer flow and cart management. Respond promptly to customer requests or concerns related to carts or facility cleanliness, providing friendly and helpful service. Qualifications Prior experience in customer service or janitorial roles is preferred; familiarity with custodial tasks is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to operate carts or maintenance vehicles safely. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met consistently.
