Overview We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Salesperson to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with their inquiries, processing transactions, and maintaining an organized workspace. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will also be delving into the world of cheese, learning about our unique products as well as cooking/food prep! You must have an interest in cooking or food but do not need formal training. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs in a friendly manner. Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system. Maintain an organized counter area, ensuring all products are well-stocked and displayed. Provide information about products and services, helping customers make informed decisions. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues efficiently and professionally. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Utilize math skills to manage cash handling and provide accurate change to customers. Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and tracking product levels. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for customers. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls effectively. Proficient organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with Excel for tracking sales data and inventory management is a plus. Experience in retail sales or automotive service is preferred but not required. Ability to negotiate effectively to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
