Job Description
Company Overview RED, Inc. Communications is a women-owned, small business dedicated to providing top-tier communication consulting support services to government agencies and private-sector clients. Since 1993, we have built a team of talented professionals who deliver efficient, tailored solutions across diverse assignments, supporting both long-term and short-term projects. The Facility Guide is primarily responsible to provide oversight of uncleared personnel at all times while entering designated buildings and property. The individual will ensure positive control of all approved but uncleared personnel from verification of identify upon arrival at the facility to maintaining constant site of the uncleared personnel while they are within the facility boundaries and ensuring they exit the facility appropriately. Department of Energy security clearance or equivalent is required for immediate employment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding safety protocols at all times. Responsibilities • Maintain 100 % visual of guests at all times Escort authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors within designated secure areas of the facility Verify identification and credentials before granting access to restricted zones Able to work indoors and out in all weather conditions Ability to walk up to 7 miles or more a day Able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time Able to Go up and down stairs Attention to detail Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Qualifications Strong observational skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills This position requires an Active DOE "L" clearance or equivalent Strong safety attitude Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies or high-stress situations Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective escorting • Must be a US citizen
