Duties Greet customers warmly and actively engage to understand their needs related to lawn care, gardening, floral design, and landscape maintenance Assist customers in selecting products such as plants, tools, fertilizers, and outdoor accessories by providing knowledgeable recommendations Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations Stock shelves efficiently, organize merchandise displays, and ensure all products are properly labeled and merchandised to attract shoppers Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor garden areas to create an inviting shopping environment Provide information on e-commerce options for online orders or product availability and support customers with digital inquiries in multiple languages if needed Support inventory management by conducting stock checks, assisting with deliveries, and updating product records using organizational skills Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for gardening, horticulture, floral design or landscape maintenance is a plus Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math enhances your ability to serve efficiently Strong communication skills in English are essential; multilingual abilities are a valuable asset for engaging diverse customer bases Knowledge of lawn care equipment, gardening tools, floral arrangements or horticulture practices will help you provide expert advice Organizational skills are necessary to manage stocking tasks and maintain an orderly sales environment Experience with merchandising techniques can help create attractive displays that boost sales Join us to grow your career in a lively retail environment where your passion for outdoor living makes a real difference!
