Overview:
This position will primarily support the Webstore by providing exceptional customer service over the phone and processing online orders. During busy times, this position may also assist in other retail areas, such as the Museum Store and Bookstore.
Position Type:
This is a part-time, year-round position which will include holidays, weekends, and other shift coverage as required. The salary for this position is $16.00/hour.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist customers with online orders, returns, and exchanges Take orders from customers over the phoneEnter orders accurately using the computer Maintain files and records with accuracy Resolve problems in an efficient and timely manner Manage multiple phone lines and incoming calls Assist with annual inventoryAssist in other retail areas as needed (Museum Store, Bookstore, Order Fulfillment)All other duties as assigned
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; comfortability with basic math and accountingRetail or sales experience is preferred but not required; ability to use a computer and basic software programs Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with colleagues, supervisors and customers; ability to accurately and proficiently enter data by typing at least 30-45 words per minute; ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
This work includes prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer and phone. Other tasks involve movement including walking, bending, stretching, standing, carrying, pushing, lifting, and moving up to 50lbs with or without accommodations.

Computer, printer, phone and other standard office equipment.
