Retail Store Associate

Job Summary Join our team as a Retail Store Associate, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create an engaging shopping experience for every customer. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product selections, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and well-organized. Duties Greet customers and assist them with product inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card payments Restock shelves, and create merchandise displays that are visually appealing to customers Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and processing deliveries efficiently Provide knowledgeable support on store products, games (board/card/video), collectibles, pop culture Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support supervising staff during busy periods and contribute to a team-oriented environment Complete daily cleaning and maintanence tasks in store Assist with creating and producing custom made products in store Assist with online store sales, packing and shipping product for online customers Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively and professionally Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Ability to perform retail tasks such as merchandising, stocking, and product demos confidently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling customer inquiries professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management Understanding of and experience in retail sales environments is a plus This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career in a fast-paced environment. Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
