Ice Skate Rental Attendant Job Summary The Ice Skate Rental Attendant helps customers rent ice skates and provides friendly customer service. This position is responsible for fitting skates, keeping the rental area clean and organized, and helping ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable skating experience. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers. Help guests find the correct skate size. Rent out and collect skates. Clean and organize rental skates. Inspect skates for damage and report any issues. Operate the cash register or point-of-sale system. Keep the rental area clean and stocked. Answer customer questions about skating sessions and rink rules. Follow all safety policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Friendly and reliable. Good customer service and communication skills. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Skate Guard Job Summary The Skate Guard helps provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests during public skating sessions. This position monitors the ice, enforces rink rules, assists skaters when needed, and responds to accidents or unsafe behavior. Responsibilities Monitor skaters during public skating sessions. Enforce rink rules and promote safe skating. Assist skaters who have fallen or need help. Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to a supervisor. Help keep the ice and surrounding areas safe and orderly. Answer customer questions and provide friendly customer service. Assist with opening, closing, and other rink duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong skating ability. Possible Work Shifts Applicants should be available for one or more of the following shifts: Wednesday afternoons Friday afternoons and evenings Saturday afternoons Sunday afternoons and evening
