The Retail Sales Associate works as part of a team to greet and serve customers and handle customer transactions. Exceptional customer service, as well as a solid product knowledge, is a major component of this position. Our Sales Associates are an integral part of our store's success. Village Wine & Spirits boasts the areas largest selection of wines and spirits. We foster a team environment among our associates who we believe to be some of the best in the area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly atmosphere which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding customer service and solid product knowledge.  Be safety oriented by following all known safety procedures and utilizing good operational, loss prevention and safety judgment at all times.  Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales.  Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory maintenance, and store maintenance.  Must be 21 years of age or older.  Must be able to work varied hours/days Sun-Sat to include a combination of mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.  Employees must be able to communicate effectively with associates and guests.  Ability to process information through POS register system.
