Playground attendant 1740 East Jericho Turnpike, Huntington, NY 11746 From $17 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $17 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Job Summary Indoor Playground Employees are responsible for creating a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for children and families. They supervise play areas, assist guests, maintain cleanliness, and ensure all safety rules are followed. Duties Supervise children in play areas to ensure safe and appropriate behavior Enforce playground rules and safety guidelines Greet customers and provide friendly customer service Assist with check-in/check-out procedures and birthday parties/events Monitor equipment and report any safety hazards or damages Clean and sanitize play areas, toys, and common spaces regularly Respond quickly to accidents or conflicts between children Set up and break down party rooms or activity stations Answer questions from parents and caregivers

Qualifications:

High school diploma or currently enrolled (preferred) Previous experience working with children or in customer service is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay attentive and energetic in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of safety and hygiene practices

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods Comfortable bending, climbing, and navigating play structures Ability to lift light to moderate weights (e.g., party supplies, toys)
