Job Description
Overview The Home Zone is seeking an energetic, motivated, and customer-focused Sales Associate to help customers create comfortable and functional homes. We offer furniture, appliances, mattresses, hot tubs, and home essentials across our growing locations. If you enjoy helping people, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced retail environment, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Greet customers and provide an outstanding shopping experience Learn customers' needs and recommend products that fit their lifestyle and budget Sell furniture, appliances, mattresses, and related accessories Generate and follow up on customer quotes and leads Build long-term customer relationships and earn repeat business Maintain product knowledge on brands, features, warranties, and financing options Assist with showroom merchandising, pricing, and maintaining a clean sales floor Process sales orders accurately and efficiently Work closely with delivery, warehouse, and management teams to ensure customer satisfaction Follow up with customers before and after delivery to ensure a positive experience Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals What We're Looking For Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication and listening skills Ability to build trust and relationships with customers Self-motivated and goal-oriented Strong organizational and follow-up skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work Saturdays Basic computer skills Previous retail sales experience preferred but not required What Makes Someone Successful Here Puts the customer first Listens before recommending products Follows up consistently on opportunities Works well as part of a team Takes pride in helping customers make informed decisions Has a desire to learn and grow professionally
