Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming shopping environment Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and returns Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their shopping experience and increase sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are attractively presented Manage inventory by stocking new merchandise and conducting regular stock checks to keep the sales floor well-supplied Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or store policies with proper phone etiquette Support sales goals through proactive engagement, suggestive selling, and promoting ongoing promotions or specials Requirements Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist diverse customer needs Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, stocking shelves, and moving merchandise as needed Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude and patience when assisting shoppers Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is advantageous but not required Excellent phone etiquette skills for handling inquiries professionally and courteously This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail career in a fast-paced environment.
