Floral Sales Associate

Job description: Damselfly Flowers Sales Associate - Supermarket Floral Department Located inside DeCicco & Sons Markets | Must have reliable transportation Damselfly Flowers is looking for dependable, self-motivated Sales Associates to help bring good vibes and great service to our dreamy supermarket floral shop locations within DeCicco & Sons. This role is perfect for someone who's organized, friendly, and loves working independently. You'll be the face of our brand inside DeCicco & Sons, keeping displays fresh, chatting with customers, in our vivacious flower shop within the store.

Important to note:

While you'll work with flowers daily, we must stress that this is NOT a floral design position.

Responsibilities:

Greeting customers and driving traffic with an inviting and proactive demeanor. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work space for all. Flower Processing - Intake and organization of floral shipments, inspect flowers and plants for quality. Ensure the proper care and maintenance of flowers, plants, and related products, including watering and maintaining freshness. Consistently replenishing and refreshing throughout your shift. Adhering to all company policies and procedures. Consistently maintain attendance and adhere to the established work schedule. Efficiently execute assigned tasks within established timeframes. Assisting in training team members as needed. Process deliveries including fresh flowers, plants, dried florals, dry goods, packaging materials, supplies, etc. Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with internal and external store employees.

Requirements:

1-3 years of customer service experience preferred High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift 15lbs as needed Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying of flower arrangements and supplies Work in varying temperature and humidity conditions Reliable transportation to and from job location

Schedule:

Weekdays Weekends Holidays Flexibility as needed

Compensation:

$18 per hour
