Job Overview Join our team as a Budtender, where you will be the friendly face of our store and help create an exceptional experience for every customer. In this role, you will provide product education, answer questions, and offer personalized recommendations based on each customer's preferences and needs. Through your professionalism, product knowledge, and commitment to outstanding service, you will help customers make informed purchasing decisions while fostering a welcoming, comfortable, and enjoyable shopping environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations based on preferences and experience levels Educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, effects, and proper dosing to promote safe and responsible usage Answer customer questions and provide accurate product information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and order processing Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies Maintain well-organized merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked neatly and accurately Assist with inventory-related tasks, including restocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and reporting low inventory levels Upsell relevant products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Provide excellent customer service through clear communication, active listening, and professional phone etiquette when assisting customers in-store, over the phone, or with pickup orders Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor environment Collaborate with team members and management to support daily store operations and customer satisfaction Support both customer-facing and operational responsibilities, assisting in various areas of the store as business needs require Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred Passion for providing exceptional customer service Comfortable engaging with customers and building relationships Ability to learn and retain product knowledge Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus and help serve a diverse customer base Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions preferred Ability to perform basic retail math accurately, including cash handling, discounts, totals, and inventory counts Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment Ability to stand for extended periods and perform stocking duties Join us in creating a welcoming environment where customers feel confident exploring our products!
