Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities. Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing backstock, and performing inventory counts regularly. Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support store operations through cashiering duties, basic math calculations for transactions, and ensuring accurate cash register balancing. Help with promotional activities and suggest additional products to enhance sales performance. Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude are essential. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings or during busy periods. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math will help you succeed in this role. Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively. Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly. Strong communication skills are vital for engaging customers and collaborating with team members.
