Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Bagel Store Worker, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a warm, welcoming environment for customers. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of bagels, spreads, and other food items with precision and care, adhering to food safety standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and transactions. Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in accordance with health regulations. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while balancing register transactions at the end of shifts. Assist with food handling duties including bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring quick service during busy hours. Support team members in food preparation, cashiering, and general store maintenance to ensure efficient store operations. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants or cafés is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle fast-paced environments efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail transactions accurately. Kitchen or retail experience in the food industry or grocery store setting is advantageous but not required.
