Job Description
Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Sunday Budtender to join our team. The position is a permanent Sunday shift 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, educating customers about our offerings, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for the cannabis industry. This is not high pressure sales environment, but focused on customer education. Duties Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Provide detailed information about products, including strains, consumption methods and effects. Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately and efficiently.. Handle cash transactions responsibly while adhering to cash handling procedures. Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations regarding cannabis sales. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Experience in retail sales, preferably within the cannabis or grocery store industry. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. Experience using POS systems for processing sales. Other information to note Employees receive discount on inventory in dispensary, as well as in our adjoining farm/grocery store. This is a one day only position, while occasional Saturday or weekday hours may be available, they are not mandatory. This is not a position that will turn into a full time job, as it is a small, family owned dispensary. Owners live and work on site. It is a perfect position for someone looking to supplement another income, or work just a few hours a week for fun and discounts.
