Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender/Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while guiding customers through their cannabis purchasing experience. You will be responsible for educating customers about our products, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere in the dispensary. -Must be 21 or older -Must have experience with cannabis and associated products Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, provide assistance in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences. Operate the cash register and POS system accurately, process transactions efficiently while handling cash/debit payments. Educate customers on various strains, consumption methods, and product effects. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and inventory is well-stocked. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and promote upselling opportunities. Adhere to all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products, ensuring compliance at all times. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales with a strong emphasis on sales skills. Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and basic math skills. Dutchie POS Knowledge is plus!! Excellent communication skills, engage effectively with diverse customers. Knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, effects, and consumption methods is a must. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and outstanding customer service. Willingness to learn about new products. Ability to stand for long periods at a time. Ability to lift 25-35 lbs. Ability to do standard math operations. Ability to move around quickly throughout a large facility. while multi-tasking.
