Part-Time Wine Sales Associate Sheridan, NY 14135 From $16 an hour - Part-time From $16 an hour - Part-time Liberty Vineyards & Winery, a family-owned and operated vineyard and winery, is seeking an energetic and experienced individual to join our great team as a Part-Time Sales Associate in our tasting room.

Summary of position tasks:

Greet and interact with guests to the winery and conduct wine tastings Prepare and serve guests Liberty wines and wine flights and snacks and engage in discussions about wine Encourage guests to purchase Liberty Vineyards wines to take home Help with winery events Promote Wine Club memberships Weekends required. Occasional weekdays may be available. Check guest IDs and ensure responsible hospitality and compliance with NYS liquor laws Restock wine and retail items, as necessary Help customers get purchases to their vehicle, as necessary Clean premises, as needed Run POS and cash out customers Occasional miscellaneous tasks Evening hours occasionally

Requirements:

Must have excellent communication and customer service skills Must have a cheerful and friendly demeanor Previous sales, wine and hospitality service experience a plus Must project a professional appearance and attitude Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
