Job Description

SUMMARY:
Responsible for the promotion and selling of all Champlain Stone products to landscape suppliers and designers. Complies with all MSHA required guidelines regarding equipment, employee's safety and recordkeeping.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of products and applications produced by Champlain Stone to customer base. Through a mix of outbound emailing and calling, engage new prospective leads for potential business relationships. Serve as day-to-day point of contact for existing clients and excel at maintaining these and developing new relationships from afar. Identify barriers of opportunity and collaborate with team to find solutions. Maintain awareness of competitive marketplace. Become familiar with and accurately place orders electronically, using company sales software following guidelines set by Champlain Stone for production and shipping timelines. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and detail of all account information in company database. Travel to visit clients on-site over 50% of the calendar year. Ability to participate in travel throughout the continental US during the given calendar year, engaging with current and prospective customers. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Sales or related field preferred. Minimum of two to three years sales or related experience required. Valid drivers license required. Two to three years sales or related experience preferred. Basic knowledge of construction and masonry preferred. Basic understanding of industry sales cycle. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Acute attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project and product being developed. Proactive and solution-based approach to collaborative endeavors. Openness to learning from other while harnessing ability to self-develop sales strategies. $45,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
