Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers with product selections and answering questions about features and benefits Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell products and services by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to maximize sales potential Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and purchase decisions Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing back stock, and ensuring products are properly labeled and priced Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings if applicable Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos in a retail or grocery store environment Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with grocery products is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional service while developing your retail expertise!
