Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service from our meat and deli counters, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail sales and a commitment to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. As a bonus, you will never work on Sundays! Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Sell merchandise by understanding customer preferences and recommending suitable items. Stock shelves and ensure that products are displayed neatly and attractively. Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash with care. Provide product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including tidying up displays and restocking items as necessary. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner. Skills Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer service role is preferred. Strong selling skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating POS systems. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to perform basic retail math calculations for transactions and inventory management. Strong organizational skills to maintain stock levels and store appearance. Willingness to learn about new products and stay updated on promotions.
