Overview Join our vibrant seasonal team at the festive Dublin Christkindlmarkt, where you'll play a key role in creating a joyful and memorable experience for visitors! Groomsville Popcorn operates food/product booths at the Dublin Christkindlmarkt serving German roasted nuts, hot chocolate, fresh-popped popcorn, and other seasonal treats. We're hiring friendly, reliable seasonal team members who thrive in a fast paced environment to help make this year's market a success. We hope to build a team who is wanting to come back year after year to celebrate and work this holiday tradition!Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service
- Run registers and handle transactions accurately
- Prepare and serve food/drinks: hot chocolate, popcorn popping, roasting nuts, and other menu items
- Follow food safety and health department guidelines at all times
- Maintain booth cleanliness and sanitation (daily cleaning, trash removal, wipe-downs)
- Stock product and supplies as needed
- Follow market rules and Groomsville Popcorn policies and shift procedures
- Work cooperatively with other booth staff; participate in tip sharing
- Work efficiently in a very fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years or older
- Reliable transportation to/from the market site
- Comfortable communicating clearly with customers and teammates
- Able to work outdoors in variable weather, stand for long periods, and lift product
- Available for shifts within the market hours above
- It is an outdoor market with minimal to NO heat
Preferred Skills:
- Prior food service or retail experience
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
