is looking for a dependable Fleet Team Member to support our trucking operations and help maintain the condition and availability of our equipment. This role focuses on monitoring trucks and trailers in the yard, coordinating repairs, and assisting drivers when equipment issues arise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of trucking equipment , with experience in mechanics, fleet operations, or OTR driving . Responsibilities Check trucks and trailers in the yard to ensure equipment is in safe working condition Identify maintenance issues and arrange repairs with local shops or roadside service providers Coordinate roadside assistance for drivers experiencing breakdowns Communicate with repair shops and negotiate service pricing and timelines Track equipment maintenance needs and follow up on repairs Work closely with dispatch and drivers to keep equipment available and operational Maintain communication with vendors, mechanics, and service providers Monitor equipment condition and report potential issues proactively Requirements Experience in trucking, fleet operations, mechanical work, or a related field CDL or prior OTR driving experience preferred Basic understanding of truck and trailer mechanical systems Ability to coordinate repairs and work with service vendors Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to respond quickly to equipment issues Schedule On-site position Coverage required between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Exact schedule and days will be discussed during the interview Compensation Salary up to $55,000 per year , depending on experience Location Cincinnati, OH About
