Retail Store Associate

Job Overview Join our team at Red, Wine & Brew retail store! Our retail store is home to the largest selection of domestic and craft beers, wines, and premium cigars in the area. In this role you will be the face of our retail store, working behind the counter, ringing up orders, and interacting with guests. You will assist in driving sales and offering product recommendations through product knowledge and effective communication. Duties Greet customers and provide personalized assistance to help them find the products they need Manage inventory levels and assist with stocking products Process transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring efficient cash handling. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and counter Assist in promoting beer/wine/cigar events to customers and assist in ticket sales. Handle customer inquiries both over the phone and in-person and be able to upsell products. Stay informed about current promotions, sales, events, and product offerings to effectively communicate with customers. Skills Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Proficient in basic math for cash handling and inventory management. Familiarity with retail sales processes and best practices. Ability to operate POS systems efficiently. Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is a plus.
