We are looking for someone who enjoys helping customers, learning about products, keeping the store organized, and taking responsibility for their shift. Prior retail or smoke-shop experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Pay:

$13.00-$15.00 per hour, depending on experience and availability

Expected Hours:

Approximately 15-30 hours per week

Schedule:

Flexible scheduling, but Saturday availability is required. Friday availability is strongly preferred.

Work Location:

In person at Miamisburg Smoke Shop Responsibilities Greet every customer and provide friendly, helpful service Ask questions to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products Learn and stay up to date on store products, promotions, and new items Answer customer questions about product features, pricing, and options Operate the register and accurately handle cash and card transactions Restock, face, organize, and merchandise products Keep the store clean, organized, and presentable Assist with inventory and deliveries Lift and move boxes weighing up to approximately 30 lbs Stay productive during slower periods by cleaning, restocking, organizing, and completing store tasks Work independently when scheduled alone Open and close the store independently after training Follow store policies and all age-verification requirements for regulated products What We're Looking For Must be 18 years of age or older Reliable transportation Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong communication and customer-service skills Friendly, approachable, and comfortable talking with customers Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision Comfortable working independently Basic math and computer skills Flexible availability Saturday availability is required Willingness to learn is a must Retail or smoke-shop experience is a plus, but not required Interest or familiarity with vaping, tobacco, cigars, smoke-shop products, or similar products is a plus Benefits 30% employee discount on most eligible merchandise Flexible scheduling outside of required Saturday availability Product training Opportunity for additional hours Opportunity to advance into positions such as Senior Sales Associate for strong, reliable employees Application Process We review each application based on availability, screening responses, and overall fit for the position.
