PART TIME / 40 HOURS EVERY TWO WEEKENDS
Responsible for providing daily assistance and direction to visitors and staff. Promotes Patient Satisfaction, assuring an efficient, friendly and hospitable atmosphere by directing, escorting and interacting with the general public.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and write in English with excellent interpersonal communication and verbal skills. Responsible for providing daily assistance and direction to visitors and staff. Skills/Other:
Excellent people skills and positive attitude. Good organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to use computer to access Facility Directory and other information for callers and visitors. Knowledge of hospital and location of departments. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively with adult and junior volunteers. Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision when manager not on-site.
DIMENSION/SCOPE
The Information Representative is a member of the Volunteer Services team reporting to the Volunteer Services Manager and responsible to: provide responsive and supportive customer service. facilitate flow of activity and traffic in the main lobby. offer precise, simple directions to visitors. monitor and support the Information Desk volunteers.
