Job Description
Retail Associate Customer Service Team Member Part-Time | $15/hour + Tips Our family-owned chocolate shop is looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic team member to join our growing business. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with customers, stays busy, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a fun, supportive team. Schedule Requirements Must be available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from approximately 2:00/3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Occasional morning shifts available Reliable attendance is required Responsibilities Greet customers with a warm, welcoming attitude Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately Prepare coffee and specialty beverages Scoop and serve gelato Package chocolates, gift boxes, and specialty products Stock shelves and maintain attractive product displays Assist with inventory and restocking supplies Keep the store clean, organized, and inviting Help with opening and closing procedures Work as part of a team to create a positive customer experience Qualifications Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused Dependable and punctual Strong communication skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to multitask and stay productive during busy and slow periods Self-motivated and able to work independently Attention to detail Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Retail, cashier, barista, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is helpful but not required—we are happy to train the right person What We Offer $15/hour plus tips Employee discount Supportive, family-oriented work environment Opportunities for additional responsibilities and growth A fun workplace where you can build relationships with customers and make a difference every day Who We're Looking For We are seeking someone who wants more than just a job.
