Job Description

Join Our Team as a Budtender! We're looking for passionate, customer-focused individuals to join our retail dispensary team. As a Budtender, you'll be an integral part of our daily operations—serving as the welcoming face of our dispensary. You'll interact with customers, process sales, assist with retail inventory and displays, and may also support curbside service. Our Retail Associates are friendly, knowledgeable cannabis professionals who guide customers through understanding, selecting, and purchasing products such as flower, concentrates, edibles, and topicals.
Bonus Opportunity:
We value great performance! Full-Time Budtenders & Assistant Store Managers (ASM): Eligible to earn a $75 or $150 monthly bonus based on individual sales performance.
Part-Time Budtenders:
Eligible to earn a $75 monthly bonus (paid quarterly) by meeting performance goals. Join us and be part of a team that rewards dedication and customer care! Role and Responsibilites Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner. Educate customers on cannabis products, including strains, effects, usage methods, and compliance rules. Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences. Process sales accurately and efficiently through the POS system. Verify customer identification and ensure all transactions comply with state and local regulations. Follow company policies regarding age restrictions, purchase limits, and packaging. Assist with receiving, labeling, stocking, and rotating inventory. Maintain clean, organized product displays and ensure accurate pricing. Conduct inventory counts and help prevent loss or shrinkage. Handle cash and electronic payments securely and accurately. Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming retail environment. Support curbside pick-up or delivery handoff when needed. Report any product issues, customer concerns, or policy violations to management promptly. Communicate effectively with co-workers and management to ensure smooth operations. Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date on cannabis products and industry regulations. Uphold the company's values of professionalism, discretion, and customer care.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent in experience is prefered but not required Minimum 1 year of customer service, retail, or sales experience required Must be at least 18 years of age or older, as required by licensing Prior experience as a budtender, brand ambassador, or similar role preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Reliability and trustworthiness Ability to work Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays Ability to work in a high-paced environment Basic understanding of cannabis strains, consumption methods, and product types (flower, concentrates, edibles, topicals, etc.). Awareness of state/local cannabis laws and compliance requirements or willingness to learn. Comfort with upselling and cross-selling products to meet customer needs. Accuracy in handling cash transactions, and balancing a register or POS system. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to listen to customer needs and make appropriate product recommendations. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to providing a positive shopping experience.
Physical Demands:
The employee is frequently required to use hands to type, handle, and feel. The employee is regularly required to walk, sit, talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach. The employee must have the ability to occasionally safely lift and/or move a minimum of 30 lbs.
