As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while educating them about our diverse range of cannabis products. You will assist customers in making informed choices, ensuring they have a positive experience in our dispensary. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers with their inquiries regarding cannabis products and services. Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on the benefits and uses of various strains and products. Utilize POS systems for processing transactions, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate sales records. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of merchandise through effective merchandising strategies. Stock shelves with products, ensuring proper rotation and inventory management. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling policies. Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing customer needs promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the dispensary environment. Skills Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and provide clear product information. Experience in retail sales, preferably within the cannabis industry or grocery store settings. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Supervising experience is a plus for those looking to take on leadership roles within the team. Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a diverse clientele. Knowledge of merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility and appeal. Ability to perform product demos that effectively showcase product features and benefits. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
