As a Budtender, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing expert guidance on product selection and ensuring an engaging, informative shopping experience. Duties Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences, needs, and experience levels, utilizing extensive product knowledge. Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, and effects to enhance their understanding. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail transactions, including cash handling and processing sales accurately. Maintain stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring proper merchandising to optimize sales opportunities. Uphold store standards by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety regulations at all times. Provide exceptional customer service through active listening, clear communication, and professional phone etiquette. Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock counting, product rotation, and documenting discrepancies when necessary. Support merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that highlight featured products and promotions. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Knowledge of POS systems and retail math to handle transactions accurately and efficiently. Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash register operations and retail transactions. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele. Familiarity with cannabis products, including strains, consumption methods, and effects; training will be provided if needed. Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously. Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a customer-focused approach. Experience with stocking, merchandising, and maintaining retail store product knowledge standards. Must be at least 21 years of age or older in accordance with local regulations governing cannabis sales.
