Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and offer expert advice on lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and floral design. Assist customers with product selection, including plants, gardening tools, outdoor equipment, and e-commerce orders. Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked with seasonal plants, gardening supplies, and floral arrangements. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling while providing friendly checkout experiences. Identify plants and flowers to help customers make informed choices; educate them on plant care and landscape maintenance tips. Support outdoor work activities such as planting, watering, pruning, and general landscape upkeep when needed. Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or store services to enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred; outdoor work experience or horticulture knowledge is a plus. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a nice-to-have to serve diverse customer needs. Knowledge of POS systems, retail math for transactions, merchandising techniques, and stock management. Passion for gardening, landscaping, floral design, or horticulture with a willingness to learn more about plant identification and landscape maintenance. Ability to perform physical outdoor tasks such as lifting plants or equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain an inviting store environment. Friendly demeanor with strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while delivering outstanding customer service.
