Process sales transactions accurately using retail math skills, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations. Maintain knowledge of store inventory, promotional offers, and financial software to facilitate smooth sales operations. Uphold store policies on security and safety while ensuring a clean, organized shopping environment. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for helping others is essential. Basic math skills including retail math, cash handling, and 10 key typing proficiency are necessary for accurate transactions. Strong communication skills to effectively assist customers and collaborate with team members. Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks efficiently, and handle cash accurately. Knowledge of retail software systems or point-of-sale (POS) technology is advantageous. A positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.
