Valley discount grocery is located at 1033 Centerville Road Bedford, Pa 15522. We are about 10 minutes north of Cumberland Md and 15 minutes south of Bedford, Pa. Responsibilities :

Cashiering, Stocking, Front-Facing Products, Pricing. Assist cashiers and stockers with loading new product on carts to be stocked. Return back stock product to the back. Assisting in opening and/or closing the store. Sweeping and vacuuming carpet. Daily lifting of banana boxes up to a max of 40 lbs. Assisting with unloading trucks and/or loading trucks. Keeping stock carts full at all times if product is ready to stock. Willingness to help and do anything additional that is asked in a reasonable time frame. Please have a sense or urgency. We are NOT a large corporation but we do have standard operating policies that must be followed.

Qualifications:

You must be able to lift, bend, twist, walk and stand for the duration of your shift. Personal hygiene and being presentable is a must. You are also paid by the value that you bring to the hour, not just on an hourly basis. Please ask about this.
