Our customer service is second to none. Share your passion for fine cigars with a vast consumer audience. Engage our diverse consumer base with enthusiasm and the drive to provide a welcoming in-store experience. We love candidates with a career-driven, team-first approach and an ability to function at a high velocity.Essential Responsibilities:
- Welcome, engage and assist consumers
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge
- Deliver polite, thorough and genuine one-on-one attention to the customer
- Present extensive expertise on cigar blends, tasting notes, regions, price points, cigar-makers and brand histories
- Foster consumer loyalty by maintaining exemplary customer service standards
- Initiate and close a myriad of sales transactions
- Willing to follow Sales Floor protocols at all times
- Eager to assist other team members
- Monitor and replenish inventory on a daily basis
- Fulfillment of customer orders in-store and over the phone
- Maintain immaculate product displays
- Routine cleaning and maintenance of store
- Must possess a team-first mentality
- Comfortable in formal work attire
- Available weekends and hours of store operation
Qualifications:
- Strong passion for premium, handcrafted cigars
- Professional, accommodating and outgoing demeanor
- Ability to sell deliberately, effectively and seamlessly
- Capacity to multi-task, prioritize and handle numerous tasks
- Attention to detail
- Superb organization skills
- Willingness to learn on a continual basis
- Ability to accurately track and order inventory
- Punctual, polished and responsible character
- Superlative work ethic
Strongly Preferred:
- Knowledge of premium cigars
- Previous experience selling comparable consumer products
- Quantifiable and successful sales history
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Friendly and out-going personality.
- Excellent communication skills..
- Must be able to speak the English language fluently.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Must be able to handle high-pressure situations.
- Customer service experience preferred; tobacco knowledge preferred.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts - including holidays, weekends, evenings, etc.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks.
- Ability to interface professionally with business contacts and customers.
- Strong understanding of hospitality industry helpful. Job Details
