Position Summary The Retail Associate provides exceptional customer service, supports daily store operations, and ensures each guest leaves with a great experience. This position involves baking cookies, stocking displays, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment. Responsibilities Acknowledge and greet customers immediately upon entering the store. Deliver friendly, accurate, and consistent customer service to encourage repeat visits. Monitor and assist customer activity to enhance service and support loss prevention. Restock cookies seamlessly as they sell — trays should always be full, appealing, and neatly arranged. Drive sales by upselling, suggesting add-ons, and promoting special offers. Communicate product and service information confidently and accurately. Operate the cash register and follow all company cash-handling procedures. Answer phones and accurately take orders, ensuring all order forms are complete and legible. Fulfill DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub orders quickly and correctly. Bake cookies according to company standards throughout your shift. Accept, stock, and properly store deliveries as they arrive. Open and/or close the store as assigned, ensuring protection of company assets. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized workspace at all times — sweep, wipe, and disinfect surfaces throughout the shift. Qualifications & Preferred Skills Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong multitasking and organizational skills. Retail and/or food service experience preferred. Basic math skills; able to make accurate monetary change. Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills. Positive, courteous, energetic, and dependable attitude. Reliable transportation to and from work. Punctual and prepared for each scheduled shift. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift. Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs regularly. Must not have food allergies to eggs, nuts, or gluten.
