Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a friendly, professional manner Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to optimize product visibility Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction Manage inventory levels by assisting with stock replenishment and organizing products on shelves Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Skills Proven experience with retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in bilingual settings (if applicable) Familiarity with POS systems and basic math for transactions and inventory management Experience supervising or leading team members is a plus, demonstrating leadership qualities in a retail setting Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and product demos confidently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive problem-solving approach Knowledge of retail math principles including sales calculations and cash handling procedures This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career while delivering outstanding service.
