Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering questions about store offerings Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately during retail transactions, including cash handling and processing returns or exchanges Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly Assist with merchandising efforts to create attractive product displays that catch customers' eyes Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy, including phone etiquette Support inventory management by counting stock, recording sales data, and handling stockroom organization Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or swimming pool environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math principles for accurate cash handling and transactions Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for supporting team efforts Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately during sales transactions and inventory tasks Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and customer service best practices Experience with store operations or similar environments enhances your ability to excel in this role Join us as a Retail Store Associate where your energy fuels our success!
