Job Description

Powder Coating Team Lead Powder Coating Team Lead Team Lead position is crucial to our goals of quality production, customer satisfaction, empowered employees, and continuous improvement. Key Roles Daily Production Targets Continuous Improvement Initiatives Machine Reliability & Trouble Shooting Cell/Shop Cleanliness Part Quality & Improvements Maintain Tier 1 Board Duties and Responsibilities Work closely with supervisor/manager to develop and maintain procedures for daily work that emphasize quality production and employee purpose. Develop and maintain respectful relationships with other teams and departments Work as a team member within the larger company Be a leader in the Swiss Production Shop by aligning with the vision and goals of the company and the department accordingly Provide necessary progress updates Trouble-shoot machines on floor as needed Daily Production Shop work Perform QC of parts and adjusting to bring into spec Train and develop new employees Run morning huddles Maintain inventory control of raw and finished parts Coordinate with other team leads on labor sharing Complete LSW Required Competencies Responsible and dependable Willing to learn and understand the vison and goals of the company Basic computer skills and knowledge Ability to use calipers and gauges Able to communicate well with other team members Willing to learn and problem solve as a team player Machining knowledge and or experience Demonstrated trustworthiness Essential Functions Lifting up to 50 lbs. Regularly using hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Regularly standing, talking, and hearing.
