Overview:

Dogs and Cats Rule in Newtown is looking for passionate, motivated, and outgoing sales associates. Must be available evenings, weekends and holidays. Experience in retail/customer service and/or pet industry a plus.

Duties:

• Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
• Provide product information and answer any questions customers may have
• Recommend additional products or accessories to enhance the customer's purchase
• Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
• Assist with inventory management and replenishment

Experience:

• Previous experience in cash handling and retail sales is preferred
• Strong knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles a plus
• Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and change accurately
