About Us:

Pelican Leisure Sorts is a locally owned retail store in Quakertown, PA , serving the community since 1990. We offer a wide variety of outdoor and leisure products. This includes spas, saunas, and pools year-round, patio furniture in the spring/summer, and ski and snowboard equipment in the fall/winter. We are a small, dedicated team where employees have the opportunity to learn different areas of the business, take on new responsibilities, and grow within the company.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a Winter Retail Associate to assist with our ski and snowboard department. We would love to find someone who is passionate about winter sports and is excited to help customers find the right equipment. Previous sales or skiing/snowboarding knowledge is preferred, but not required . We are happy to train some one who is motivated to learn.

Responsibilities:

As a Winter Retail Associate, your responsibilities may include: Assisting customers with ski and snowboard purchases Fitting customers for ski and snowboard rentals Performing basic ski adjustments and tuning Keeping the department clean, organized, and ready for customers Operating the register and completing customer transactions Assisting with other store responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who has: Strong customer service and communication skills Knowledge of skiing or snowboarding or a willingness to learn Ability to adapt as the store's needs change throughout the season A positive attitude and ability to take initiative Good organizational skills and attention to detail A willingness to learn about our products and help customers find the right equipment

Availability:
