Tops Pay Rate Starting at: Level $12.00/ hr Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority. SUMMARY The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. The Office/Service Desk Clerk is responsible for providing Remarkable Customer Service by assisting customers with anything they may need.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Remarkable Customer Service at all times (i.e.: solve customer problems or direct customer to a person or department that can) Process all customer transactions accurately and efficiently (i.e.: check cashing, utility payments, money orders, refunds, bottle returns, lottery sales) Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding Service operations, safety, and sanitation Prioritize multiple tasks without constant supervision Handle cash, checks, and other media and distinguish between various forms of currency Responsible for proper cash and media reconciliation at the end of each shift Finish all necessary paperwork for shift Maintain a clean and organized environment around the service desk and bottle area Answer incoming telephone calls and direct to correct person/department Inform manager on duty and/ or office manager of any problems or important information Follow direction of managers, as given
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 18
years and older Can work Noon to 7pm
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions Possess basic computer skills Possess strong communication skills
